About Me

Age: 20
Where I live: From small town in good ol' Michigan, living in the dorms at MSU this year.

School:Well, I am now in my third year of College at Michigan State University. I'm living in the dorms this year. So far I'm doing well. My major is in Computer Science, but I only just started taking courses related to it. I've already completed all my required credits and 2 years of Japanese. I can hardly speak any Japanese, but given enough time and all my dictionaries/grammar books I can translate almost anything adequately. This semester(Fall 01') I'm taking Programming 2, Physics for Engineers 1 and Multivariable Calculus(3rd level Calculus course). Suprisingly, my easy class is Calculus. So far it has been quite easy, just extensions of what I already know. Physics has it's moments(little Physics joke there... I know it's not funny). Rotational motion was impossible, but otherwise it has been somewhat of a breeze. Programming 2 is a very easy, but tedious class. Last programming class I had, I would get perfect scores on everything, but this semester it seems almost impossible to get anything 100% perfect.

Current hobbies: Fossils, I've been going to the library a lot and researching Michigan fossils. I have a Michigan fossils page in the works where I'll include a ton of information from all that I've found.

Past hobbies: I will try to remember as much as I can: Comic books(still do, but not that much), trading cards, Magic the Gathering, Warhammer, Spellfire, AD&D, coins, shells, rocks/minerals, Legos, coll. action figures, sports cards, Bazooka Joe comics, model trains and a bunch of other stuff that I forgot.

Favorites:
Anime series - Lodoss of course. Three others: Kodomo no Omocha(Child's Toy), I My Me Strawberry Egg and Slayers.
Manga - Black Jack, by Osamu Tezuka.
American comic - Poe, by Jason Asala.
Animated American TV series - The Tick, also The Simpsons.
Music artist - James Taylor.
Videogame - My favorite videogame of all time would be Final Fantasy 3/6, played this game over and over for years.
Videogame in Japanese - Tales of Phantasia.
Movie - Braveheart
Old time comedy - The Marx Brothers and The Three Stooges.
Topping on Pizza - Pineapple of course.

Current stuff:
Book - Reading "Walden" again.
Videogames - Playing Harvest Moon: BTN
Music - Listening to mostly classical lately.

Other stuff:
Here is my QBasic game I made in High School. Here are the two files needed to run it. Program and Help File for QBasic. Open up the file in QBasic and press F5 to run. My computer hasn't enough conventional memory to compile it into an execute file so this will have to do. You control the character using the num pad. It is very, very, very sloppy code but shows what you can do when you know very little(about 20 or so commands at the time).
